Suunto E203

Suunto Escape 203 is an electronic handheld watch-altimeter-barometer instrument with various memory functions.
The Suunto Escape203 is an electronic hand-held watch-altimeter-barometer instrument with a memory. The Escape203's accuracy and good usability in all conditions makes it an ideal companion for climbers, boaters and outdoor enthusiasts as well as for professionals.

Altimeter
The altimeter of the Escape203 shows you your current altitude, vertical gain or loss from the start of a hike or climb, as well as your vertical ascent and descent rate in ft/h (m/h). Up to 20 altitude points can be stored into the memory for later reviewing. The one-logbook memory stores total vertical ascent/descent for the log, as well as the maximum and minimum altitudes reached during the activity. The unit also stores the accumulated vertical ascent/descent over a longer period of time. The altitude range extends up to 29 500 ft (9 000 m). The resolution is adjustable by the user to either 3ft (1 m) or 10 ft (5 m).

Barometer
The Escape203 barometer keeps you ahead of the storm and shows the current absolute and sea level pressures, temperature as well as the barometric trend for the last 6 hours. The Escape203 features also a pressure alarm. In activated state the alarm will alert the user to pressure changes of 4 mbar/0.10 inHg over a period of 3 hours. A special feature of the Escape203 is a "locking mechanism" that keeps the altitude from changing when the unit is used for weather monitoring purposes only. Similarly, when the device is used as altimeter, the seal level pressure stays constant and the barometric changes only affect the altitude and absolute pressure reading. The resolution of the barometer is 1 mbar/0.05 inHg.

The barometer memory automatically stores the barometric pressure and temperature history for the last 24 hours, as well as the maximum and minimum values during this time. It also stores the maximum and minimum pressure and temperature values over time, which makes it valuable for estimating the barometric trend.
Watch
In addition, the Escape203 has a time mode with normal watch functions such as current time with 12/24 hour format, weekday and date. The luminous display and user-replaceable battery makes the Escape203 suitable even for harsh conditions. Its operating with three buttons is easy even when wearing gloves. The unit is water resistant and temperature compensated. Neck lanyard comes as standard. The Escape203 device is light and ergonomically comfortable, weighing appr. 55 g.
- Altimeter with current altitude, vertical ascent and descent rate measurement, and logbook memory
- Barometer with barometric pressure and temperature measurement
- Multiple watch functions
- Shock-resistant elastomer casing with rough surface to increase grip
- Water resistant

Suunto Observer

Suunto Observer

Suunto Observer measures your vertical ascents and descents, as well as the total number of runs skied and shows all that easily with one press of a button. Its timeless design makes it wearable in any casual situation, and because of its moderate size and stylish design it is perfectly suitable for both men, as well as women.

Altimeter
Suunto Observer's altimeter has a range up to 9 000 m/29 500 ft with a 1 m/3 ft resolution. It features an altitude alarm as well as memory function for storing logs of your most exciting mountain adventures. The logbook allows you to record total and cumulative vertical ascents and descents, as well as the number of runs skied. The logbook data is quickly available during the activity with one button press.

Barometer
The Suunto Observer and its barometric functions provide you with valuable information for forecasting weather changes. Information on the present sea level pressure helps you read and understand the barometric pressure at high altitudes.

In addition to current barometric pressure and temperature, the barometer function of Suunto Observer gives pressure related data for the past four days: the first six hours in one hour intervals and after that in six hour intervals.

Alti/Baro lock
This unique feature allows you to use your Suunto Observer as a weather station, or an altimeter. When Suunto Observer is used as an altimeter, the sea-level pressure reading is locked. When the altimeter function is activated, all pressure changes are interpreted as altitude changes, and the sea-level pressure reading displayed will not change, although the absolute pressure reading does.
When Suunto Observer is used as a weather station, the altitude reading is locked. When the barometer function is activated, all pressure changes are interpreted as weather changes, and the measured changes will therefore only affect the pressure reading in the barometer mode. These changes will not affect the altitude reading, thus enabling instant weather forecasts.

Compass
The compass shows the cardinal or half-cardinal point abbreviated and indicates the North with an arrow. The compass can be set to track a certain bearing, and graphically show the difference between it and the actual bearing. This is a valuable tool, when trying to get back on track after minor or major detours in the terrain. The declination adjustment function allows the user to correct the difference between true North and magnetic North.

Watch
Suunto Observer also has a calendar clock pre-programmed to the year 2089 with three daily alarms, a dual time display, and a stopwatch with lap and split time measurement. The stopwatch stores up to 99 laps and split times for one run. The time can either be shown in 12 or 24-hour format.

- Altimeter with resolution of 1 m / 3 ft , vertical speed, number of ski runs
- Barometer with pressure difference measurement

Suunto Vector Heart Rate (Cross Sports)

Suunto Vector HR

The Suunto Vector HR is your tool for peak performance, whether you’re already on the mountain or training to get there. Armed with an altimeter, barometer, electronic compass, and heart rate monitor, you’ll have the information you need to make responsible decisions in the great, vertical outdoors.

Heart Rate Measurement
It’s not just the external conditions that matter when you’re climbing: what’s going on inside your body can make the difference between a great adventure and a miserable ordeal. Set HR zone alarms to let you know when your heart rate is climbing faster than you are—or when your training regimen is too easy. Training for a climb with the HR monitor gives you an objective measure of exertion, whether you’re doing a long, steady hike, or short intervals of intense bursts of energy in the gym. You’ll also be able to avoid overtraining by monitoring your resting HR first thing in the morning.

Suunto Comfort Belt
Made from soft textile materials, the Suunto Comfort Belt comes equipped with unique traction strips to keep it in place, eliminating the need to over-tighten. The thin length-adjustment buckles minimize the risk of friction and abrasions, allowing you to train with minimal interruption. The Suunto Comfort Belt features a closing buckle conveniently located in the front, which also doubles as an easy-to-reach key for the battery cover.

Altimeter
The altimeter features a range up to 9,000 m / 29,500 ft, putting all 14 of the world's 8,000+ meter summits within your reach. It measures your vertical speed, and works with the HR monitor so you can see the physiological impact of both altitude and vertical rate of movement. You can set altitude alarms to remind you when you’re reaching another limit, while the automatic 24-hour memory stores the altitude and ascent/descent rate for every hour, and lets you record other intervals. With the logbook, you can see and compare all of your ups and downs as it records your total and cumulative vertical ascents and descents.

Barometer
The Suunto Vector HR displays real-time barometric pressure and temperature, giving you a heads-up on weather conditions. Check the weather trend graph or the past four days’ barometric data, which is recorded automatically. When the reference altitude is set correctly, the instrument also shows the present sea level pressure, making it easier for you to read and understand the barometric pressure at high altitudes. Just don’t forget that in the mountains, the detected barometric pressure also changes when you are moving in a vertical direction, which can make predicting the weather a bit more complicated.

Compass
The digital compass guides you with cardinal or half-cardinal points and a north-south arrow. Set the compass to track a bearing of your choosing, and your Suunto Vector HR helps you get around in unknown terrain. The declination adjustment function allows you to correct the difference between true north and magnetic north for a more accurate reading.¨

Time
The Suunto Vector HR displays the current time in 12- or 24-hour format and includes three daily alarms and a calendar. Use the chronograph to support your training sessions with the split-time stopwatch, countdown timer, and interval timer.

- Heart rate monitor
- Suunto Comfort Belt

Suunto Core (Cross Sports)

Suunto Core

The award-winning Suunto Core gathers a range of data to help you navigate your way through the wilder parts of the world.

Altimeter
The altimeter features a range up to 9000m (29 500 ft). It is ideally suited for all activities where knowing your altitude and ascent and descent rates is essential. The Core altimeter sports an altitude difference measurement that allows you to track your progress in terms of altitude climbed. The log recorder stores all your movements in altitude between the start and stop times, so you can re-live your trip at home - view graphs of changes in altitude during your treks, find out how much you climbed, the duration of ascents and descents, average ascent and descent speed and more.
Barometer
Suunto Core displays the current sea level pressure as a detailed graph, showing recording of the last 24 hours with a recording interval of 30 minutes. The weather trend indicator is a useful feature providing quick reference to check upcoming weather conditions. The storm alarm notifies you of a sudden drop in air pressure, which may be related to worsening weather conditions.

Automatic Alti/Baro switch
Suunto Core sports an Automatic Alti/Baro switch, a smart feature that senses your movement or lack thereof, switching between altimeter and barometer accordingly. When you’re climbing, it records changes in elevation. And when you stop to rest, it records changes in barometric pressure. A drop in air pressure while you’re sleeping under the stars will be recorded for what it really is: a change in barometric pressure, not altitude
Compass
The digital compass displays the cardinal or half-cardinal point and the North. The declination adjustment function allows you to correct the difference between the true North and magnetic North. You can also set it to track a certain bearing, which helps you follow a chosen direction in the terrain. The compass features a rotating bezel for traditional use (most variants), or a one-touch function that allows you to sight lock and follow a bearing.

Depth meter
Intended for snorkeling, the Suunto Core depth meter provides information on current depth and the maximum depth reached during your snorkeling dive. The maximum depth of the device is 10m (32,8 ft).
